Quality Control Inspector

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of machined parts and finished goods using AQL sampling plans
• Document inspection results, testing data, and non-conformances per ISO standards
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of inspection procedures
• Coordinate calibration of measurement and test equipment
• Assist in customer complaint investigations and quality system audits
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and customer support teams
• Maintain compliance with quality and safety systems
• Seek opportunities for continuous process improvement

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on inspection experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Ability to use micrometers, calipers, and height gauges
• Strong math and clerical skills
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PC-DMIS and CMM operation
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards
• Proficiency with CAD software, specifically SolidWorks
