About the role
Responsibilities
- Organize and execute inspection jobs with professionalism
- Execute specific inspections on materials, equipment, and construction/installation activities on site
- Issue relevant Quality Records and write non-conformance reports to QC Supervisor
- Check conformity with the Quality Control Plan and manage certifying documentation
- Ensure correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan
- Verify special processes and relevant workers’ qualifications
- Check power transformers, switchboards, batteries, lighting systems, and instrumentation
- Perform visual inspections and dimensional tests
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering or equivalent
- 10+ years of relevant experience in Oil and Gas construction sector
- CSWIP / AWS and BGAS / NACE certifications
- Familiarity with engineering standards and codes for offshore projects
- Experience in EPC Construction activities (Hook up, Commissioning, Tie In, jacket, pipelaying, or Pipeline)
- Mandatory offshore or island experience
