About the role
Responsibilities
- Review Material Submittals, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and Method Statements for civil, mechanical, and electrical works
- Conduct construction inspections to verify materials, equipment, and workmanship compliance
- Verify construction activities align with approved drawings, specifications, and relevant codes
- Inspect quality of materials including soil, aggregates, asphalt, and concrete
- Monitor earthworks, asphalt paving, concrete works, and drainage installations
- Oversee construction of retaining walls, bridges, tunnels, dams, and related structures
- Participate in final inspections prior to project handover
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of QC experience in road and infrastructure construction
- Proficiency in material testing standards such as BS, ASTM, or AASHTO
- Relevant certifications such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, CSWIP, BGAS, ASNT, IEC, or NEC
