Quality Control Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspections of products and materials using precision measurement tools and gauges
• Document inspection results accurately and systematically, maintaining detailed records and generating quality reports
• Identify defects, inconsistencies, and deviations from specifications and communicate results to production and management
• Conduct statistical analysis of inspection data to identify trends and areas for process improvement
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and management teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with quality control protocols, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
• Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment and measurement tools
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of improved quality control procedures
• Support root cause analysis investigations and help implement preventive measures
• Communicate inspection results and recommendations transparently to stakeholders

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years of professional experience in quality control, manufacturing inspection, or a related field
• Proficiency with precision tools and gauges (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Solid knowledge of quality control inspection techniques and methodologies
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in computer systems, inspection software, and spreadsheet applications
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective written and oral communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Quality certifications such as ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or ASQ
• Experience in Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data analysis
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and production environments
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and industry-specific quality standards
• Experience with quality management systems and documentation
• Proficiency in Spanish for effective collaboration with local teams
