Quality Control Inspector - Multi ( Welding & Coating/Painting ) - Offshore/Island

Responsibilities

• Organize and execute inspection jobs on materials, equipment, and construction/installation activities on site.
• Ensure correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan and check conformity with the Quality Control Plan.
• Issue relevant Quality Records and write non-conformance reports to the QC Supervisor when necessary.
• Verify special processes and the qualifications of relevant workers.
• Perform visual inspections, dimensional tests, and check ratings and materials for connections.
• Inspect power transformers, switchboards, batteries, lighting systems, instruments, cables, and other electrical components.
• Manage documentation certifying tests, controls, and inspections.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in the Oil and Gas construction sector.
• Mandatory CSWIP or AWS certification.
• Mandatory BGAS or NACE certification.
• Mandatory experience working in Offshore or Island environments.
• Familiarity with applicable engineering standards and codes used during QC surveillance for offshore projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in EPC Construction activities, specifically in Hook up, Commissioning, Tie In, jacket, pipelaying, or Pipeline.
