Quality Control Inspector

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, or measure materials, products, and installations for conformance to client specifications
• Measure product dimensions using calipers, gauges, micrometers, and rulers
• Read blueprints, manuals, and technical data to determine inspection procedures
• Conduct As-Built Quality Reviews to ensure product uniformity and reliability
• Act as a liaison between Engineering, Manufacturing Managers, and Production Foremen to resolve quality issues
• Coordinate UL labeling and assist during third-party inspections
• Assist in developing and maintaining policies to enhance process compliance and ISO 9001 standards

Requirements

• 1+ years of quality control experience with structural and electrical assemblies in a manufacturing environment
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to travel between facilities in Belle Chasse, LA and Bay St. Louis, MS
• Proficiency with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches)
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Intermediate math and computer skills (Microsoft Office)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience applying ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements
• ASQ certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
• ISO Internal Auditor Certifications
