Quality Control Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection tests, including physical workmanship, performance, and cosmetic assessments
• Compile and analyze quality performance data to develop graphs, charts, and detailed quality reports
• Coordinate with Production, Program Management, and Engineering to conduct product failure analysis
• Create Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and support the Corrective Action Request (CAR) and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) processes
• Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) and support Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (PFMEA)
• Perform internal spot audits related to the Business Process Management System (BPMS)
• Liaise with customers and Customer Service on quality matters and act as a representative in system certification
• Utilize MES, ERP LN, and Teamcenter to manage manufacturing and engineering data

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 6 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's Degree with 2 years of relevant experience
• Working knowledge of AS9100 or ISO9001 standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Access)
• Basic understanding of statistical analysis, reporting, and electro-mechanical assembly processes
• Experience in process quality control and product testing
• Knowledge of continuous improvement disciplines such as Lean, Kaizen, 5 Whys, or Root Cause Analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) or CQT (Certified Quality Technician) certification
