Quality Control Inspector II

Responsibilities

• Independently inspect production hardware including avionics (wire harnesses, PCBA) and mechanical/structural components (machined parts, composites)
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T
• Perform in-process and final inspections
• Initiate and document nonconformances (NCRs)
• Communicate inspection results to production and quality teams
• Maintain accurate inspection records and traceability
• Support first article inspections and process feasibility studies
• Maintain FOD, cleanliness, and safety standards
• Comply with AS9100 and internal quality system requirements

Requirements

• 2–4 years aerospace or high-reliability inspection experience
• Proficiency in print reading and basic GD&T
• Familiarity with IPC workmanship standards and dimensional inspection methods
• Demonstrated ability to work independently
