Quality Control Inspector II

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections during daily floor audits as per applicable procedures
• Conduct functional testing including inflate/deflate testing on IABs and APA/Catheter extender testing
• Execute and verify rework for non-conforming materials to support manufacturing
• Document all test and inspection results following strict good documentation practices
• Train new inspectors within the Quality Control team
• Support manufacturing and engineering with product development testing activities
• Provide feedback for updating inspection procedures and forms

Requirements

• Technical school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in production and/or quality control inspection/testing
• Minimum of 3 years of mechanical inspection experience
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex procedures
• Fluency in English with effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work 2nd shift (3:00pm to 11:00pm)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the medical device industry
• Proficiency with SAP
• Experience with Instron and Bluehill software
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office products
