Quality Control Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections and specified tests of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products
• Use observation and testing to identify faults in materials and manufacturing processes
• Document inspection results by completing reports, logs, and checklists
• Communicate with supervisors to determine recommendations and remedies for product questions
• Maintain quality records and ensure inspection/measurement equipment is operating correctly
• Follow all safety protocols, including the use of required PPE on the production floor

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 4-6 years of quality inspection experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and technical documents
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software for reporting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 35 pounds
• Physical dexterity to operate testing equipment, gauges, and perform bending, kneeling, or squatting
