Quality Control Engineer

Responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee NDT compliance, ensuring personnel qualifications and inspection methods meet required standards
• Supervise daily shop floor inspection activities and conduct project briefings with inspectors
• Manage nonconformities (NCRs) by initiating reports, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions
• Prepare and update quality plans, Inspection Test Plans (ITP), and inspection notifications
• Review inspection records and maintain accurate documentation within the Master Control System
• Coordinate testing activities and inspections with customers, third-party inspectors (TPI), and vendors
• Monitor inspection results, review NDT findings, and verify the calibration of inspection tools and equipment
• Ensure adherence to company HSE policies and Quality Management Systems

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of seven years of experience as a QC Engineer
• At least four years of experience in the manufacturing, repair, or remanufacturing of drilling equipment and tubular products
• AWS or CSWIP Welding Inspector certification
• ASNT NDT Level II certification or equivalent
• Strong technical knowledge of API 6A, API 16A, API 16C, API 1104, API STD 64, NACE MR0175, ASME Section VIII and IX, and ASTM NDT standards
• Proven experience supervising inspection teams and participating in quality audits
