Quality Control Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply quality control processes to monitor product quality at various stages of production
• Perform thorough inspections and tests on materials and finished products
• Identify quality issues and collaborate with production teams to develop solutions
• Document inspection outcomes, maintain quality records, and generate reports
• Analyze quality metrics to uncover patterns and opportunities for continuous improvement
• Execute manual and automated test plans to ensure software quality
• Identify and report bugs using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla
• Automate repetitive testing tasks using Selenium, Cypress, or Appium
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing

Requirements

• Master's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in quality control or a similar role
• Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies and Six Sigma
• Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and statistical process control (SPC)
• Proficiency in quality testing software and tools
• Familiarity with software testing methodologies (manual and automated)
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, JIRA, or Postman
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or JavaScript
• Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
• Experience working with international teams or in a multinational environment
• Familiarity with Eastern European quality standards and regulations
