Quality Control Analyst

Responsibilities

• Perform sampling and preparation of products obtained throughout the manufacturing process for monitoring, measurement, and analysis.
• Conduct special chemical testing, including microscopy and burnability tests, on various products.
• Execute physical testing on cement grinding products and silo extractions.
• Adhere to safety guidelines established in the Integrated Management System (SIG) to identify and mitigate unsafe conditions.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Biology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 months of demonstrable experience in a similar role within the cement or mining transformation industry.
• Technical knowledge of cement manufacturing processes and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Proficiency in handling analytical laboratory equipment.
• Availability to work rotating shifts and perform various analyst functions (chemical, physical, and concrete testing).
• Strong competencies in initiative, teamwork, results orientation, and effective communication.
