Quality Control Analyst

Responsibilities

• Perform sampling and preparation of products obtained throughout the manufacturing process for monitoring and analysis.
• Conduct special chemical tests, including microscopy and burnability tests, on various process products.
• Execute physical testing on cement grinding products and silo extractions.
• Follow all safety guidelines established in the Integrated Management System (SIG) to identify and mitigate unsafe conditions.
• Ensure compliance with quality specifications based on the established quality plan.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Biology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 months of demonstrable experience in a similar role within the cement or mining industry.
• Technical knowledge of cement manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in Statistical Process Control (SPC) and handling analytical equipment.
• Availability to work rotating shifts and perform various analyst functions (chemical and physical testing).
• Strong competencies in initiative, teamwork, results orientation, and effective communication.
