Quality Consultant

Responsibilities

• Define test strategies across unit, API, UI, and end-to-end (E2E) layers based on business requirements.
• Design and maintain modular, tool-agnostic automation frameworks using patterns like Page Object or Screenplay.
• Implement shift-left practices by collaborating with developers on unit and integration testing.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins) to ensure quality gating.
• Manage test environments using Docker or Azure containers and handle synthetic test data provisioning.
• Monitor quality metrics and observability signals, including coverage, pass rates, and failure classification.
• Perform basic non-functional testing, including performance checks and security boundary testing.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in an SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) role.
• Strong knowledge of Playwright and Selenium.
• Proven experience building and maintaining tool-agnostic test automation frameworks.
