Quality Conformance Management (QCM)

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor quality management systems to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulations like AS/EN 9100 and PERAM 145
• Conduct internal and external audits, assessments, and surveillance of products, processes, and suppliers
• Lead investigations and root cause analysis for non-conformances, deviations, and customer complaints
• Drive corrective and preventive actions to resolve quality issues
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to optimize processes and prevent defects
• Maintain comprehensive quality records and prepare detailed performance reports for stakeholders and regulatory bodies
• Provide training and guidance to personnel to foster a strong organizational quality culture
• Contribute to risk identification and mitigation strategies related to product quality

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial) or Quality Management
• 3-5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or Quality Conformance Management within the aerospace or defense industry
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems such as AS/EN 9100 or ISO 9001
• Proficiency in root cause analysis tools including 8D, Ishikawa, and 5 Whys
• Fluency in both English and Spanish (verbal and written)
• Experience with P145 organizations is a significant plus
• Certified Internal or Lead Auditor certification is highly desirable
