Quality Auditor-Retail & Consumer Products

Responsibilities

• Conduct softline, hardline, and garment inspections at factories and warehouses during pre-production, in-process, and final production stages.
• Evaluate raw materials and associated components against client standards and verify orders against received items.
• Perform visual inspections and measurements of finished products to detect defects and ensure workmanship meets approved criteria.
• Report inspection findings and documentation following standard operating procedures and client-specific requirements.
• Adhere to all company and client environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner while working in the field.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum of 1 year of demonstrated proficiency in a quality-related field.
• Experience in inspections, preferably involving softlines or hardlines.
• Knowledge of apparel construction techniques and textiles.
• Understanding of inspection criteria, including AQLs, inspection levels, and sampling plans (ANSI/ASQ Z14).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel, and Word).
• Willingness and ability to travel via car and plane.
• Must be located in or near Montreal or Ottawa, Canada.
