Quality Auditor Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform production and finished product inspection and quality control for all surfaced and cut and edge Rx work
• Use a Lensometer to read and interpret results and findings accurately
• Interpret customer Rx requirements and production work tickets via lab software
• Recognize and ensure "First-Quality" Rx standards regarding product cosmetics and alignment
• Serve as a quality advisor to production supervisors and lab management
• Troubleshoot production problems to maintain acceptable quality and service levels
• Ensure compliance with Uniform Processing System procedures, including calibration and product fit
• Provide technical guidance and training to less experienced employees
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area while following all safety regulations

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
• 3 years of production experience
• Knowledge of ANSI standards applicable to eyewear
• Near vision capability of 20/40 max (with or without corrective eyewear)
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
