Quality Auditor/Inspector Quality

Responsibilities

• Perform required quality checks on parts and record results on appropriate inspection sheets
• Conduct incoming and outgoing dock inspections and audits
• Identify nonconforming material and perform sorting or rework as required
• Execute all job responsibilities in accordance with ISO/TS 16949 requirements
• Maintain 5S responsibilities, including floor marking and signage
• File all completed quality records in designated storage areas
• Actively participate in the quality process to maintain zero defect standards

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• One or more years of experience in the automotive industry
• Proficiency with hand measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, indicators, and torque wrenches
• Strong basic mathematical, reading, and comprehension skills
• Computer literacy, including familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to lift and move automotive parts weighing up to 35lbs
• Ability to work in a loud manufacturing environment and remain in a stationary position for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience or formal education with an emphasis on quality control
• Proven history of good quality practices in a manufacturing setting
