About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform visual inspections of servers, racks, and components to ensure compliance with reliability and workmanship specifications
- Utilize gauges, templates, microscopes, and other manufacturing aids to verify product specifications
- Monitor and report quality metrics to meet business needs
- Prepare reject reports and assist with the disposition of non-conforming materials and products
- Notify appropriate personnel of unusual product defects or process yield issues
- Conduct process audits and assist manufacturing in interpreting quality and workmanship standards
Requirements
- Knowledge of ISO, ESD, and calibration requirements
- Experience with Layered Process Audits (LPA)
- Proficiency in electronic assembly, including components, schematics, and surface mount assembly
- Experience with microscope inspection and various measuring tools
- Proficiency with office software, including word-processing and spreadsheets
- Ability to speak and understand English
- Physical ability to use ladders and lift/push up to 40 lbs
