Quality Auditor 1

Responsibilities

• Audit and coach inspectors to ensure compliance with eyewear and inspection standards
• Conduct various audits including product audits, account work, and lab/intercompany returns
• Perform specialized testing such as drop-ball and RCO2 testing
• Provide developmental feedback and coaching to staff to improve quality performance
• Assist with external audits and participate in group training sessions
• Monitor breakage analyst audits and outsource audits

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Silver certification in inspection
• Proven audit accuracy rate of 90% or better
• Proficiency with MS Office and optical testing machinery
• Basic math skills, including the ability to work with fractions and decimals
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and climb in a fast-paced production environment
• Ability to maintain PPE compliance and follow all lab safety policies
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
