Quality Assurance Training Lead

Responsibilities

• Design and implement quality assurance training programs aligned with safety, regulatory standards, and business goals
• Partner with functional areas to conduct needs analysis, training effectiveness checks, and trend analysis
• Ensure training compliance with Health Canada GUI-0001, 21 CFR 211.25, ICH Q10, and applicable GMP standards
• Serve as the primary training system representative during regulatory inspections
• Coordinate training program execution across multiple sites (PEI and Windsor)
• Establish and maintain a trainer qualification program
• Develop training materials and knowledge assessments for SOPs in collaboration with functional departments
• Facilitate instructor-led training courses, including annual cGMP training

Requirements

• Post-Secondary Education
• Prior experience in a GMP-regulated quality environment
• Four years of relevant experience in a biotech or pharmaceutical environment, including training or team management
• Experience with Quality systems
• Exceptional facilitation and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Train the Trainer Certification
• Experience in an API facility
• Knowledge of LMS or equivalent electronic training management systems
• Proficiency with the Rise Articulate platform
• Experience with metrics and trending
