Quality Assurance Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide information and data reflecting the status of the plant quality system
• Assist with corrective action, process improvement activities, and appropriate re-training
• Monitor the quality and integrity of information required for sterilization process history records
• Issue the release of processed materials
• Assist in all activities relevant to FDA, customer, and regulatory audits
• Support audits to ensure FDA, ISO, and GMP compliance
• Execute equivalency and retrospective re-validation studies and reports
• Assist the Validation Coordinator with validations and calibrations
• Analyze temperature and humidity probe data
• Maintain all quality-related training programs

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English
• Proficiency using a computer and ability to analyze data in databases or spreadsheets
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and perform repetitive bending and lifting motions
• Must be medically approved for respirator use
• Ability to tolerate exposure to high temperature and high humidity

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 to 1.5 years of experience working in a sterilization environment
