Quality Assurance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform sampling and physical/chemical testing of finished products and raw materials
• Communicate test results or inspection findings outside of specifications to management and peers
• Manage product hold and release systems using SAP and LIMS
• Identify non-conformances and recommend appropriate corrective actions
• Maintain accurate, complete, and legible laboratory records and documentation
• Conduct routine maintenance, calibrations, and standardization of laboratory equipment
• Safely handle and use chemicals and hazardous materials in compliance with MSDS and OSHA policies
• Assist in maintaining ISO documentation and laboratory housekeeping

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least two years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or compounding processes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Ability to handle chemicals safely and follow strict safety protocols
• Ability to work a 1st shift schedule (Monday to Friday, 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of gauging methodology and metrology
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 requirements
• Experience with SAP or LIMS systems
• Experience operating laboratory equipment such as UTM, Melt indexer, Color meter, or Density meter
