Quality Assurance Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of incoming materials and finished products, including First Article Inspection and PPAP inspections
• Perform tests and evaluations on products to ensure they meet technical specifications
• Document inspection results and work cross-functionally to investigate and complete disposition of non-conformance
• Collaborate with production staff to implement quality control measures and quality improvement initiatives
• Participate in the investigation of part defects, non-conformities, and Test Cell Callouts
• Perform process and product audits to ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements
• Assist in developing and maintaining quality assurance documentation and procedures

Requirements

• Previous experience in quality assurance or a related field
• Knowledge of quality control methodologies, inspection techniques, and regulatory standards such as ISO9001
• Proficiency in using measurement and testing equipment
• Ability to interpret technical documents and specifications
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and competency in data analysis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• AA/AS Degree
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• ASQ-CQT or CMI training
