About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform quality inspections and testing using measuring tools and calibration to ensure compliance with standards
- Conduct daily line audits to identify defects and perform root cause corrective actions
- Perform inspections across all production stages and conduct lab testing for incoming raw materials and manufactured goods
- Work with production personnel to maintain continuous improvement in products and services
- Monitor product integrity and quality without impeding production rates
- Adhere to all safety procedures and report potentially unsafe conditions
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Word, and data entry for reporting
- Basic understanding of test equipment and measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for up to 12 hours per shift
- Ability to work a 2-week rotation schedule (12-hour day shifts)
Preferred Qualifications
- ASQ certification
- Experience with SAP, ERP inventory systems, or SharePoint
- Knowledge of resin systems and extrusion processes
- Experience with manufacturing software
