Quality Assurance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections and testing using measuring tools and calibration to ensure compliance with standards
• Conduct daily line audits to identify defects and perform root cause corrective actions
• Perform inspections across all production stages and conduct lab testing for incoming raw materials and manufactured goods
• Work with production personnel to maintain continuous improvement in products and services
• Monitor product integrity and quality without impeding production rates
• Adhere to all safety procedures and report potentially unsafe conditions

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Word, and data entry for reporting
• Basic understanding of test equipment and measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for up to 12 hours per shift
• Ability to work a 2-week rotation schedule (12-hour day shifts)

Preferred Qualifications

• ASQ certification
• Experience with SAP, ERP inventory systems, or SharePoint
• Knowledge of resin systems and extrusion processes
• Experience with manufacturing software
