Quality Assurance Technician

Responsibilities

• Ensure all manufactured goods meet quality specifications and comply with government regulations and standards
• Complete, monitor, and interpret analytical, chemical, and microbiological tests throughout the production process
• Maintain and calibrate plant quality assurance equipment and perform routine quality checks
• Liaise with suppliers regarding material issues
• Train process, bottling, and warehouse operators on routine quality checks and compliance procedures
• Investigate consumer and customer complaints regarding product quality and implement corrective actions

Requirements

• Third level degree in a food-related science or equivalent
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative under pressure
• Ability to maintain documentation and system records with a high degree of accuracy
• Flexibility to work within a shift-based environment
• FMCG experience is preferred
