Quality Assurance Technician

Responsibilities

• Inspect product throughout the manufacturing process
• Perform failure investigations and root cause analysis
• Perform process and product audits
• Record quality data to support production in identifying and correcting non-conformance trends
• Perform product testing including on-site water testing and corner strength testing
• Perform quality inspection on incoming shipments from suppliers
• Train shop floor employees on proper assembly and equipment calibration
• Participate in quality standards review and create work instructions

Requirements

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work flexible shifts including occasional Saturdays
• Physically fit with ability to perform heavy lifting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Computer and data entry proficiency
• Familiarity with problem-solving tools like Fishbone diagrams and 5-why analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• Six Sigma certification
