Quality Assurance Technician

Responsibilities

• Work proactively with vendors and factories to provide technical expertise and monitor quality performance through KPI reports
• Conduct in-line and final AQL product inspections to ensure compliance with Burberry quality standards
• Perform factory assessments to identify opportunities for improving manufacturing quality systems
• Conduct handover and pre-production meetings with Product Engineering teams to assess style risks
• Provide coaching, support, and training to third-party QCs, vendors, and sub-contractors
• Review non-conformance reports and drive vendor accountability through corrective action plans
• Support the Product Engineering and Global Sourcing teams with production information and sample approvals

Requirements

• Proven experience in quality assurance or production within a related field
• Strong knowledge of product manufacturing processes
• Understanding of QA processes, including statistical analysis and AQL audit techniques
• Knowledge of raw material and finished product testing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently
• Willingness to travel frequently to vendors in the Marche and Umbria regions

• Specialized knowledge in knitwear
