Quality Assurance Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough product inspections to ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards
• Analyze Statistical Process Control (SPC) data to identify trends and perform root cause analysis
• Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on inspection equipment to ensure operational reliability
• Make informed decisions regarding the release or holding of products during shifts
• Collaborate with production teams to implement control plans and address quality issues
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety standards and coordinate necessary audits

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience (preferably in a quality-focused role)
• Basic computer skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment on rotating 12-hour shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field
• Food Safety certifications (e.g., HACCP)
• Quality Systems certifications (e.g., ISO or ASQ)
