About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough product inspections to ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards
- Analyze Statistical Process Control (SPC) data to identify trends and perform root cause analysis
- Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on inspection equipment to ensure operational reliability
- Make informed decisions regarding the release or holding of products during shifts
- Collaborate with production teams to implement control plans and address quality issues
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety standards and coordinate necessary audits
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2+ years of manufacturing experience (preferably in a quality-focused role)
- Basic computer skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment on rotating 12-hour shifts
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field
- Food Safety certifications (e.g., HACCP)
- Quality Systems certifications (e.g., ISO or ASQ)
