Quality Assurance Supplier Quality Holds Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for suppliers and supplier-related issues in the facility
• Coordinate the defective packaging material database
• Collaborate with the Packaging team to determine root causes of supplier packaging problems
• Ensure timely compliance and response of SCARs from packaging suppliers
• Report on supplier quality metrics
• Sample incoming materials and ingredients to ensure compliance with company standards
• Verify product labeling against standards and monitor system for label accuracy
• Review incoming material COA and COC documentation
• Support QA Management with product HOLD sampling and reporting

Requirements

• BS/BA in a related science field
• 2-5 years of manufacturing experience
• Knowledge of food microbiology, chemistry, dairy standards, and CIP sanitation
• Strong computer skills including Word and Excel
• Ability to work independently and multitask
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move throughout production and warehouse environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing
