Quality Assurance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and motivate a team of four Quality Control technicians
• Structure, implement, and maintain the site Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate the internal audit schedule, train new auditors, and report on completion
• Manage customer complaint investigations and ensure timely resolution
• Develop and analyze KPI data and trends for weekly and monthly performance reviews
• Maintain site accreditation and retailer standards through regular gap analysis
• Identify areas for continuous improvement and implement sustainable corrective actions
• Build and maintain strong relationships with external suppliers and customers

Requirements

• Strong understanding of QMS principles and ISO standards within an FMCG, food, or beverage environment
• In-depth knowledge of food safety legislation, customer standards, and accreditation requirements
• Proven experience in developing and interpreting KPI data to identify trends
• Ability to plan, conduct, and report on internal audits and perform gap analyses
• Experience delivering training and development to QC and operational teams
• Familiarity with Lean principles, risk assessments, and preventative quality measures
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
