Quality Assurance Specialist

Responsibilities

• Monitor the food production process using sensory, weight control, and analytical methods to maintain consistency.
• Evaluate all finished products for compliance with company specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Perform and document all quality testing with high precision and accuracy.
• Identify, investigate, and communicate out-of-compliance situations to the FSQA Manager and leadership team.
• Hold team members accountable to established Food Safety Quality Assurance (FSQA) standards and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency with G-Suite, Slack, and other computer software.
• Ability to stand, bend, and move intermittently for shifts of 8-10 hours.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.
• Comfort working in varying temperature environments, including kitchens, warehouses, and coolers (39°F).
• Fluency in English (verbal and written).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in food manufacturing production.
