Quality Assurance Specialist

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve ingredient and finished product specification and CTQ frameworks
• Lead end-to-end supplier qualification including documentation and audit reviews
• Drive supplier audit and compliance programs and adjudicate corrective actions
• Serve as subject matter expert for HACCP and CTQ programs
• Manage regulatory compliance including label review and FSMA 204 traceability
• Lead culinary hand-off process from supplier to restaurant
• Establish and maintain QA documentation systems and standards
• Analyze supplier quality performance using FoodLogiQ and other systems
• Develop process documentation, SOPs, and quality system enhancements

Requirements

• 4-5 years of experience in food quality assurance or food safety
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field
• Expertise in ingredient specification development and management
• Experience with supplier audit programs such as SQF, BRC, or FSSC 22000
• Working knowledge of HACCP principles and FDA/USDA regulations
• Proficiency in managing documentation and quality tracking tools
• Ability to travel up to 25% to visit suppliers and facilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with FoodLogiQ or similar platforms
• Exposure to culinary development or new product launches in foodservice
