Quality Assurance Specialist (Steel and Steel Bridge Construction)

Responsibilities

• Monitor, test, and document the professional manufacturing of steel structures and steel bridges.
• Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) on welds in accordance with normative requirements.
• Take responsibility for production-related controls and final inspections of steel construction and corrosion protection.
• Conduct spot checks on incoming goods from external processing.
• Collaborate closely with other technical departments and client construction supervisors during component acceptance.
• Maintain general quality assurance across various production areas.

Requirements

• Qualification for non-destructive testing of materials and welds according to DIN EN ISO 9712, Level 2.
• Proficiency in Visual testing (VT), Ultrasonic testing (UT), and Magnetic particle testing (MT).
• Willingness to work in a 2-shift system (Monday - Friday).
• Willingness to travel occasionally to construction sites.
• Systematic and independent working style with a professional demeanor.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional testing qualifications such as Penetrant testing (PT) or Radiographic testing (RT/film evaluation).
• Practical prior knowledge in welding technology.
