Quality Assurance Specialist, Operations

Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct thorough investigations to determine root causes of operational deviations
• Recommend and implement robust corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to reduce recurrence
• Partner with operations teams to prepare, analyze, and communicate investigation trends
• Act as the primary quality resource for production staff, including supervisors and operators
• Support "Zero Defect" projects and prevention-focused initiatives such as Gemba walks and audit readiness
• Ensure compliance with GMP standards and maintain operational quality through key performance indicators

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or compliance within the pharmaceutical industry
• Fluency in French is required for effective communication and regulatory compliance
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience applying process improvement tools
• Solid practical knowledge of GMP and regulatory requirements
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ERP, Minitab, and LIMS
• Excellent technical writing and oral communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priority projects under pressure
