About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Validate new developments, configurations, and bug fixes prior to deployment
- Identify, document, and track defects, coordinating resolutions with developers and vendors
- Ensure system quality and stability across all environments
- Verify that all business requirements are correctly implemented in the software
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 2–5 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance or Software Testing
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies
- Proven experience in writing and maintaining test cases and test plans
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps
- Deep understanding of SDLC and STLC processes
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of databases and SQL
- Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium or Cypress
