Quality Assurance Specialist I

Responsibilities

• Provide support to technical staff to ensure routine testing meets turnaround time and quality specifications
• Perform routine testing for client-specific projects
• Approve and issue Certificate of Analysis and sign cGMP related reports
• Participate in departmental and company-wide service improvement projects
• Train on applicable general SOPs for the Analytical Laboratory
• Participate in staff training sessions and equipment maintenance/calibration efforts
• Adhere to SGS SOPs regarding official records, documentation, and customer complaints

Requirements

• B.S. in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or equivalent experience
• 0-2 years of experience preferably in Life Sciences supporting cGMP Operations
• Thorough knowledge of scientific principles
