About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform final audits on batch nonconformances and ensure the timely release of conforming finished product shipments
  • Maintain and improve guidance documents, including work orders, forms, and procedures
  • Ensure all documentation complies with Abbott standards and regulatory agency requirements prior to release
  • Partner with Senior Project Leaders, Quality Engineers, and Managers to identify and resolve quality issues
  • Implement and maintain the effectiveness of the quality system to ensure plant regulatory compliance
  • Support the successful completion of regulatory audits and assessments
  • Assist with New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including tracking, trending, and communication of needs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Two years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, or Engineering
  • Working knowledge of Low Acid Food Regulations and Infant Formula Regulations
  • Strong technical judgment and the ability to reach valid, auditable conclusions
  • Ability to communicate effectively across departments including Engineering, R&D, and Logistics
  • Self-driven with the ability to work independently and meet plant project deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in a technical area such as Engineering or Food Science
