About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform final audits on batch nonconformances and ensure the timely release of conforming finished product shipments
- Maintain and improve guidance documents, including work orders, forms, and procedures
- Ensure all documentation complies with Abbott standards and regulatory agency requirements prior to release
- Partner with Senior Project Leaders, Quality Engineers, and Managers to identify and resolve quality issues
- Implement and maintain the effectiveness of the quality system to ensure plant regulatory compliance
- Support the successful completion of regulatory audits and assessments
- Assist with New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including tracking, trending, and communication of needs
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- Two years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, or Engineering
- Working knowledge of Low Acid Food Regulations and Infant Formula Regulations
- Strong technical judgment and the ability to reach valid, auditable conclusions
- Ability to communicate effectively across departments including Engineering, R&D, and Logistics
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently and meet plant project deadlines

- Degree in a technical area such as Engineering or Food Science
