Quality Assurance - Quality Control Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor quality documentation (ITPs, construction and testing procedures, etc.) during the construction phase
• Validate quality documentation issued by subcontractors
• Issue Inspection Notifications to the Client according to ITP and contractual requirements
• Monitor site inspection activities and organize representation for inspections
• Review, comment on, and approve final equipment construction files
• Participate in meetings with subcontractors, suppliers, and the client
• Ensure implementation of the corporate Quality Management System (QMS) and international standards
• Support the Project Quality Manager and draft Non-Conformance Reports
• Collaborate with Quality Managers and Project Managers to develop quality control programs

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in quality control roles within EPC projects
• Welding Engineer/Inspector certification is preferred
• Technical knowledge of materials used in power plants, piping systems, or refineries (steel, aluminum, alloys, etc.)
• Non-destructive testing (NDT) certification or experience is preferred
• Familiarity with international and European standards (ISO, EN, ASME, PED, etc.)
• Familiarity with industrial processes such as machining, welding, and coating
• Very good command of the English language
• ISO 9001:2015 inspector certification is preferred
• Ability to travel to construction/fabrication sites worldwide
