Quality Assurance Product Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Collect, review, and approve specifications for new products from suppliers
• Manage the QA set-up process for all items in development
• Partner with Marketing on label creation to ensure FDA and regulatory compliance
• Manage enrollment and compliance of claims and certifications like non-GMO, gluten-free, and vegan
• Lead weekly product reviews with the Sampling Team
• Conduct in-house shelf life studies and test new product shipments against specifications
• Investigate quality issues reported by customers and visit warehouses as needed

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in quality assurance or food production
• 2+ years of experience in product development or project management
• Ability to move and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• BS/STEM degree
• Understanding of SSOP’s, GMP’s, and HACCP/PCQI training or certification
