Quality Assurance Officer

Responsibilities

• Perform quality assurance testing for PA/PBT materials (raw, in-process, and finished goods)
• Prepare and maintain SOPs and Work Instructions for laboratory activities
• Operate and maintain lab equipment including MVR, viscosity, mechanical testing, and injection molding
• Ensure calibration and validation of testing equipment
• Handle ERP and barcode systems for traceability and documentation
• Conduct colour matching and support customer/sample requirements
• Maintain laboratory 5S and safety standards
• Provide training to apprentices on quality control practices
• Coordinate with suppliers for calibration, AMC, and spare parts
• Support global round robin testing and external testing activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Maintenance, and Warehouse
• Initiate supplier complaints and support customer complaint analysis
• Support IATF 16949/ ISO 9001 compliance

Requirements

• Diploma or Engineering in Plastics/Polymer Technology
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of material testing standards (ISO)
• Hands-on experience with laboratory testing equipment (MVR, viscosity, mechanical testing)
