Quality Assurance, Monitoring & Testing Group Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to a large team of professionals and junior managers to drive optimization and efficiency.
• Oversee the implementation of the Control Framework, including Risk Control Policy, Control Standard, and Issue Management.
• Lead the assessment of activities and processes against required policies, standards, and procedures to strengthen risk management quality.
• Conduct routine testing of internal activities to ensure adherence to quality standards and identify areas of non-compliance.
• Develop and execute monitoring and testing for controls, including design assessments and operational effectiveness testing.
• Regularly report on quality control outcomes and control effectiveness to top management and relevant stakeholders.
• Integrate stakeholder feedback and respond to quality assurance complaints in a timely manner.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in operational risk management, compliance, audit, or other control-related functions within the financial services industry.
• Proven track record of leading control-related projects and programs.
• Expert knowledge in the development and execution of controls and an understanding of compliance laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex risk and control activities.
• Exceptional command of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Bachelor's or University degree is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
