Quality Assurance, Monitoring & Testing Group Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to a large team of professionals and junior managers to drive optimization and efficiency.
• Oversee the implementation of the Control Framework, including Risk Control Policy, Control Standards, and Issue Management.
• Lead the assessment of activities and processes against required policies and standards to strengthen risk management quality.
• Conduct routine testing of internal processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and identify areas of non-compliance.
• Develop and execute monitoring and testing for controls, including control design assessment and operational effectiveness testing.
• Regularly report on quality control outcomes and control effectiveness to top management and relevant stakeholders.
• Integrate stakeholder feedback and respond to quality assurance complaints in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in operational risk management, compliance, audit, or other control-related functions within the financial services industry.
• Expert knowledge in the development and execution of controls and a proven track record leading control-related projects.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence executive audiences.
• Ability to identify, measure, and manage key risks and implement sustainable process improvement initiatives.
• Exceptional command of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
