Quality Assurance Manager

Responsibilities

• Conduct structured walkthroughs of manufacturing operations to identify quality concerns
• Review assembly, wiring, piping, and commissioning documentation against engineering specifications
• Perform on-site QA/QC inspections at customer data center locations
• Assess mechanical system performance including hydronic loop integrity and refrigerant circuit health
• Generate structured inspection reports documenting findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions
• Participate in internal QC meetings to present findings and trends to leadership
• Maintain a running log of open quality items across factory and field
• Support the development of inspection checklists, MOPs, SOPs, and QA/QC documentation standards

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in HVAC/mechanical systems or industrial equipment manufacturing
• 4+ years of experience in a Quality position (engineer, supervisor, or manager)
• Demonstrated QA/QC experience in data center or critical infrastructure environments
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, submittals, MOPs, SOPs, and EAPs
• Strong written documentation skills for inspection reports and nonconformance logs
• Willingness and ability to travel 50-65% to factory and field sites
• Proficiency with BAS/BMS platforms for system verification

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with commercial HVAC/mechanical systems including chillers and cooling towers
• Experience with Turbocor centrifugal chiller platforms
• Familiarity with dry cooler or adiabatic cooling systems
• Experience presenting quality findings to management-level audiences
• Background in technical mentorship or instructor-level training
• Experience reviewing RFIs and equipment submittals
