Quality Assurance Lead (SAP)

Responsibilities

• Lead the set-up, preparation, and execution of Quality Assurance activities across SAP projects.
• Define and implement QA frameworks, standards, and methodologies aligned to SAP best practices.
• Conduct and facilitate quality gate reviews at key project milestones.
• Provide QA delivery leadership to ensure quality objectives are met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review project deliverables to ensure compliance with agreed quality, scope, and performance standards.
• Identify risks, defects, and quality gaps, and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate closely with technical, functional, and business stakeholders.
• Support governance and reporting structures to provide visibility into quality status and outcomes.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance roles, with senior-level responsibility.
• Bachelor’s degree or a relevant SAP-related qualification.
• Proven experience establishing and managing QA frameworks and quality gates.
• Strong experience providing QA leadership on complex SAP delivery projects.
• Solid understanding of SAP project life cycles and delivery methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP ECC to S/4HANA upgrades.
• Experience working within the Public Sector.
• Experience working on large-scale, enterprise SAP programmes.
• Candidates currently based in Cape Town.
