Quality Assurance Inspector/Analyst

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process, and final dimensional inspections to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and customer specifications.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, and profilometers.
• Conduct visual welding inspections and Dye Penetrant Testing (PT) in accordance with applicable codes.
• Inspect surface preparation and painting quality, including thickness checks.
• Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) by documenting findings, segregating materials, and supporting root cause analysis.
• Control and monitor the calibration status of all inspection instruments and maintain traceability.
• Support 5S initiatives and maintain compliance with ISO 9001 quality management systems.

Requirements

• Technical education in Quality, Mechanical, or Manufacturing, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of quality inspection experience within machining, fabrication, or manufacturing environments.
• Proven ability to interpret technical drawings in both inch and metric systems.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and calibration systems.
• Knowledge of welding inspection practices and dye penetrant testing.
• Understanding of 5S methodology and quality management standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Experience with systematic problem-solving tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone/Ishikawa, or Pareto analysis.
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
