About the role
Responsibilities
- Monitor and verify that all dredging operations comply with project specifications, regulatory standards, and environmental requirements
- Inspect equipment and monitor work processes to ensure quality and safety
- Review technical documentation and validate final results
- Perform inspections on an as-needed basis, potentially involving multiple days per week
Requirements
- Must hold at least one of the following certifications: AWS, CWI, CSWIP, API 510, or API 570
- Minimum of 5 years of industrial inspection experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience specifically as a Quality Assurance inspector for dredge inspections
- Proven knowledge of dredging inspection requirements
- Experience with off-shore or subsea inspections
Benefits
- Competitive hourly rate of $45 to $50/hr
- Mileage reimbursement of $0.70/km
- Potential per diem for inspection sites located beyond a 200-mile round trip from residence
