About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform materials testing and fabrication inspection services
  • Ensure materials and products conform to DDC specifications and contract requirements
  • Inspect materials at manufacturing plants and audit testing laboratories
  • Witness tests and prepare detailed reports
  • Review drawings and applicable standards
  • Coordinate inspection and testing services performed by consultants
  • Review material testing requests, results, and consultant reports
  • Audit, review, and approve vendors

Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree in civil engineering and one year of full-time satisfactory experience in civil engineering work
  • OR a Baccalaureate degree and a Master's degree in civil engineering
  • Must be authorized to work full-time in the United States
