About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform materials testing and fabrication inspection services
- Ensure materials and products conform to DDC specifications and contract requirements
- Inspect materials at manufacturing plants and audit testing laboratories
- Witness tests and prepare detailed reports
- Review drawings and applicable standards
- Coordinate inspection and testing services performed by consultants
- Review material testing requests, results, and consultant reports
- Audit, review, and approve vendors
Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree in civil engineering and one year of full-time satisfactory experience in civil engineering work
- OR a Baccalaureate degree and a Master's degree in civil engineering
- Must be authorized to work full-time in the United States
