Quality Assurance Inspector

Responsibilities

• Monitor, evaluate, and execute audits of operations to ensure compliance with QEHS policies, processes, and governmental regulations
• Plan and publish monthly inspection and evaluation schedules on a quarterly basis
• Conduct quality and safety inspections of contract operations and subcontractors
• Coordinate EHS incident and accident investigations and prepare necessary reports and trend analyses
• Provide staff expertise for reviewing proposed environmental laws and assessing their impact on company operations
• Review in-process and final quality inspections of all maintenance actions involving EHS
• Provide QEHS training to personnel and verify that all staff are properly certified for their assigned duties
• Review incoming technical publications and directives for applicability

Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Quality Assurance, Environmental, Health, or Safety operations
• OSHA 30 Certificate in General Safety or Construction Safety
• Current 40 Hour HAZWOPER Certificate
• High school diploma or equivalent
• US Citizenship required to obtain and maintain facility credentials
• Working knowledge of implementing Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety programs
• Sound knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 requirements
• Ability to work in harsh environments and perform physical activities including heavy lifting up to 40 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• ISO 9001:2015 or ISO 45001:2015 Internal Auditor certifications
• Experience or certifications in wastewater or water treatment
• Experience in a maintenance, services, or military organization
